Commercial Water Damage – Atlanta Retail Store

Commercial water damage was the result of a heavy band of thunderstorms in the Atlanta area. The rainfall from the thunderstorms was excessive. It can be seen in the before photo how much water damage was sustained by the retail facility. SERVPRO of Southwest Cobb / Cascade is thoroughly equipped to deal with water damage this e3xtensive. They have the quantity of equipment and quality of staff to use the restoration equipment. They would be chosen for this project because of the amount of resources they could commit on an emergency basis. The store management was anxious to get the water cleaned up quickly and professionally so they could reopen the store. This sort of project would require that the contents be removed to a SERVPRO warehouse for drying and restoration before the task of dealing with the water in the facility could be addressed. Trailer mounted water extraction equipment would be employed to remove the majority of the water. Drying would be accomplished with the use of commercial air movers, dehumidification equipment, and air scrubbers.
