Fire & Water - Cleanup & Restoration

How To Document A Restoration Project

Throughout the project, the SERVPRO restorer will establish, implement, and consistently follow methods and procedures for documenting all relevant information. Detailed inspections will be conducted to identify the Category of water, the Class of water or extent of wetting, the types and quantities of affected materials, and apparent and potential damage. The information obtained will then be used to develop a preliminary determination, pre-restoration evaluation, scope of work, and procedures. Methods used in the inspection, the data acquired, and decisions reached, as a result, will be documented.
